Workshops & Education
Some of our clients already have a very mature approach to equality, diversity & inclusion embedded within their organisations. Others will need more of a partnership approach to help them move from an aspiration to a reality.

All of our clients are different to one another, so there’s no such thing as a “typical” client journey. There are often similar elements to the steps we take for clients who are at the beginning of their conversations around diversity & inclusion.
Getting influencers talking unconscious bias at NTT Data
Trish was incredible! She was able to create an environment that was open and honest, as well as refreshing.

This was a thought provoking session and I absolutely enjoyed it. Trish Driver was awesome. Thank you.

Workshop participants
NTT Data
NTT Data have a great culture of inclusion in their business but wanted to spend time with a group of influencers within the business talking about unconscious bias.
We agreed that running a leadership event would be the most effective way to do this, and designed an interactive workshop that was positioned appropriately for the high-level audience, blending new content with structured discussion and break-out groups.
We also designed pre-event communications to set expectations, and a series of post-event 'nudges' to make sure learning stayed fresh in participants’ minds.

We received great feedback from the project sponsor:

"Trish designed and ran a fantastic workshop for us on unconscious bias. She worked closely with us to design the content to ensure that the messaging was completely appropriate for our audience. Her subject matter expertise and warm style made for an engaging and impactful session that received incredible feedback from all participants.

Trish also supported us with some follow-up activities to ensure that the learning from the session was really embedded for those who attended."
Pulling together a strategic vision and a plan of action to educate at Frontline Group
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all your team for their support over the last year. It’s been amazing, I love being involved with the Advocates at work. They are such an amazing group, and I am sure we have much more to deliver. I have learned so much about people I never knew and, as you would know, the differences are often what unites us.

Frontline
Frontline is the UK’s leading magazine sales, marketing and distribution company. We began working with the Frontline Group in early 2021 when they came to us wanting to begin their conversations about Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (E,D&I) in earnest. We worked through a discovery phase, speaking to key stakeholders in the organisation, and running an inclusion survey with our wonderful partners great{with}talent. We worked to create a safe environment where team members could comfortably share their experiences. We pulled together all of this insight, with our experience and knowledge, to support the Frontline Group in pulling together a strategic vision for ED&I, and a plan of action to educate the organisation, and begin the process of embedding ED&I in everything they do.

We began by running workshops for the leaders of the organisation, and these proved so successful that they were then rolled out across managers and then across the whole organisation. Over the course of a year, we worked with hundreds of people across the organisation, and supported them with advice and consultancy as the business set up its D&I advocates group and continued their conversations.

The company has seen the difference which comes with collective education and empowerment, with longer-tenured staff members (including the CEO) remarking on the changes they witnessed!
CEO Frank Straetmans, was transparent about his own journey, sharing his discoveries about his own “blind spots” in a video message to his people. As we concluded workshops with the team, Frank said: “Just wanted to add my “thank-you’s” for helping on this journey. It really is amazing to hear and see the changes we can already notice and I am sure these will stay with us, become part of us (and evolve into even better things).”
Tracy O’Sullivan, who sponsors the programme of work within the company added: “Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all your team for their support over the last year. It’s been amazing, I love being involved with the Advocates at work. They are such an amazing group, and I am sure we have much more to deliver. I have learned so much about people I never knew and, as you would know, the differences are often what unites us.”
