Our 2022 Charities of Choice

Updated: Dec 15, 2022

Donating to charity is one of the ways we can all make a difference to the world. That's why we support charities which are close to our hearts all year round, as well as making an additional end of year donation. So if you're looking for somewhere to make a donation, even the smallest contribution makes a big difference.

Here are the charities we've supported through 2022:

Mermaids does incredible work supporting trans, non-binary and gender diverse kids and their families. They've been under an onslaught of attacks from transphobes this year, which is why we think it's even more important to support them.

Cegin Hedyn CIC (translating to Seed Kitchen) is a Community Kitchen & Canteen in the former Cellar Café at The Lammas Street Centre. The team behind this lovely CIC believe everyone is deserving of delicious, nutritious food, no matter what they have in their wallets and operate on a “Pay what you can” model. You can donate the cost of a meal on their website.

Black Minds Matter UK is a charity and initiative changing the face of Black mental health by making mental health resources more relevant and accessible for all Black people in the U.K.

They are on a mission to connect Black individuals and families with free mental health services — by providing fully funded 12 weeks of therapy with certified Black therapists.

Crisis works alongside homeless people to help them rebuild their lives. They support people facing homelessness, in the moment, and also through their campaigning to end homelessness for everyone.

The Trussell Trust is the UK's leading food bank charity. With an emergency food parcel being given out every 13 seconds in the UK, their work has never been more important. Donating enables them to continue their amazing work supporting those most in need.

Child Autism UK helps children with autism achieve their potential. We provide services to enable children to overcome difficulties with communication, learning and life skills and give families the techniques and strategies to cope with autism

These are all charities which are important to us as a team - we'd love to hear which matter most to you and why!
